Marketing Manager

Lake District Country Hotels are seeking a Marketing Manager!

We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, passionate marketing professional to lead our team to assit in promoting the Lake District Country Hotels brand. 

As the Marketing Manager, your role would encompass developing a year round marketing strategy, taking in local publications, social media, SEO, PR, Google Analytics, award entries and more as we try and take our group to a wider audience.

At Lake District Country Hotels we offer a high standard of food and beverage across our three hotels and currently hold three AA rosettes for culinary exellence of which we are very proud.

We also combine our high standards with a warm and attentive, home from home style service - an attribute we wish to be replicated in our marketing materials.

The role is based upon a five day working week, although we are happy to be flexible and we would also consider applicants who are interested in slightly shorter working hours. 

Salary will be dependant on experience and the role comes with an attractive company benefits package.

Junior Sous Chef

Reporting directly to the Head and Sous Chef, you will be an integral part of an exciting team. This is a responsible, creative job where you can really flex your talents.  You will be required to help create new dishes that will help us continue on our journey to achieving 3 AA rosettes. Other responsibilities will include working with Head Chef on budgeting, health and safety and staffing.

Career development is available within our group, so if you are ambitious, passionate about modern, contemporary cooking and would like to be part of a warm team we would like to hear from you. We will be interested to hear from anyone who has worked at a minimum of one AA rosette standard in the role of CDP or more senior.

Commis Chef

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about cooking and has the desire to learn and improve. If your experience hasn’t been extensive but you are keen and willing to learn, then we would like to hear from you. Head Chef and his team are great teachers and to date, with their guidance, a number of our team have worked their way up from Commis, through to the higher ranks.

Housekeeping Assistant

We are firm believers in a healthy work life balance. Our Housekeeping team service no more than 7 rooms each per day. We feel this allows enough time to both enjoy the job whilst maintaining the highest possible standard of cleaning.

IF you are somebody who is meticulous in your work and wants to join a warm, friendly team, then this is the place for you. We have plenty of mothers and fathers who come in to work once they drop their children off and finish in time to pick them up.  Previous experience is not essential as we provide full training.
