Saturday 30th December
Arrive from 3pm and check into your room before enjoying tea and cakes in front of one of our cosy fires. At 6.15pm join us in the bar for a welcome drink, before tucking into Ambrus's sumptuous three-course dinner. Then get ready to be transported to Las Vegas as Merewood becomes a casino for the evening. Will you win big $$$ on the gaming tables?!
New Year's Eve
After a full English breakfast, wrap up warm and get ready to set sail on Lake Windermere. Hop on board and enjoy the sensational scenery of the Lake District. Chef will prepare a winter warming lunch for your return back at Merewood and at 4pm we'll host tea & cakes. The main event will begin at 7pm with a glass of Champagne before a fabulous four-course gourmet dinner. We'll toast midnight with Auld Lang Syne and haggis, neeps and tatties and our resident DJ will then have you dancing well into 2024. We will also be joined by a saxophonist throughout the evening - giving the night that extra something special.
New Year's Day
Tuck into breakfast to fix your tender head between 9.00-11am. From here, we'll wish you a Happy New Year and hope that you will visit us again soon in 2024.
