JAMIE HOPKINS

Head Chef, Jamie Hopkins has a passion and love for modern British cuisine.  Recently appointed, he moved from our sister hotel, Merewood, where he spent two years as Sous-chef, working under the guidance of Head Chef, Carl Semple.  Jamie was an integral part of the Merewood team when they achieved their two AA rosettes and scooped the 2018 Cumbria ‘Taste’ award.  

Jamie has introduced some exciting menu changes which maximises the use of the outstanding produce Cumbria has to offer.
