Our Christmas Hotel Packages 2025
Explore various Lake District Christmas holidays and discover the option that brings together the perfect winter surroundings, seasonal magic, and an experience tailored to your preferences. For example, our three night Christmas package (Wednesday 24th December until Saturday 27th December) is just ÂŁ675 per person for a standard room, ÂŁ699 per person for a Garden room and ÂŁ725 per person for a family room. Here’s what to expect from our holiday schedule, designed to help you make the most of every festive moment:
Christmas Eve
Arrive from 3pm and check into one of our elegant rooms. Then head downstairs to relax and enjoy a nice cup of tea with some homemade scones. At 7pm meet in the Benson Bar for a welcome drink followed by a delicious three-course dinner followed by tea & coffee.  After dinner unwind in one of the lounges, before heading to bed to get a good night’s sleep before the big day ahead.
Christmas Day
Your festive break in the Lake District continues in comfort and joy, beginning Christmas Day with a leisurely continental breakfast in your room. Then spend a relaxed morning with your loved ones unwrapping your presents. At 12 noon we’ll gather for a glass of fizz and picture quiz before indulging in a six-course Christmas lunch with all the traditional trimmings. Food and drink at Briery Wood are guided by a love for fresh, seasonal produce and beautifully flavoursome, local cooking. You’ll also have the chance to guess the weight of the Christmas Cake to win a prize.
Chef will prepare a delicious buffet for 7pm before we finish the day with Briery Wood’s annual quiz – hosted by our very own quizmaster.
Boxing Day
Breakfast will be served between 8.00-10am after which you will have the morning to relax at your leisure.
A light lunch will be served from 1pm before setting sail on a Lake Cruise on Windermere. Mulled wine and mince pies will warm your insides as you take in the spectacular scenery. The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy wherever your mood takes you. Make your stay even more special by indulging in our festive afternoon tea, which can be a delightful, heart-warming moment to share with your loved ones. Then, we’ll meet back at Benson’s Bar at 6pm for a welcome drink before tucking into a sumptuous three-course dinner at 7:30pm. After this join us for fun at the Casino tables. A prize will be awarded to the person who has the most $$$ at the end of the night!
Saturday 27th December
A hearty full English breakfast will be served between 8.00-10am before check out at 11am.  From then all that remains is for us to wish you a safe journey and hope to see you in 2026 as you check out and depart.
