Investment in Your Perfect Day

In Season (April – October)

£15,200 following a church ceremony
£16,450 including a civil ceremony

Out of Season (November – March)

£14,950 following a church ceremony
£15,950 including a civil ceremony

*The above costs are based on 40 guests.

Numbers can be increased to accommodate up to 80 day guests and 120 evening guests.

Booking Procedure

Planning your intimate Lake District wedding at Cragood is simple. Follow the steps below to secure your civil ceremony at our stunning Lake Windermere wedding venue.

Important Information

Please note that the ‘Just Us’ wedding package does not include the cost of the registrar, celebrant, or marriage license. These must be booked separately.

Step-by-Step Booking Process

Check Hotel Availability: contact us to confirm if your preferred wedding date is available. If so, we can provisionally hold it up for up to seven days.
Confirm Registrar Availability: contact the Kendal Registrars Office on 0300 373 3300 (Monday – Friday, 9AM-4:30PM) to check availability for the same date and suitable time.
Secure Your Wedding Date: once your registrar booking is confirmed, notify the hotel. At this stage, we require a £1,000 non-refundable deposit to secure your wedding date.
Sign & Return Terms & Conditions: complete the final booking by signing and returning a copy of our wedding terms and conditions.
