Christmas in the Lake District is a magical time and at Merewood we have something for everyone… mulled wine, gourmet food, luxurious interiors, picture postcard views, roaring log fires and of course a visit from the man in red…

Our three-night Christmas package (Thursday 24th December – Sunday 27th December 2026) is just £839 per person for a Classic Room or £889 per person for a Lake View Room*, including breakfast each morning.

*Price is per person based upon two guests sharing a room. A supplement of £500 applies for single occupancy

Games in the lounges afterwards

Festive buffet in the evening at 8pm

Followed by a quiz in our conservatory bar

Boxing Day

Lake cruise at 1pm

Soup and sandwich lunch served on the cruise

Mulled wine and cake served in our lounges on guests return

Entertainment from Fred Binley Piano from 4pm

Carvery dinner served at 7:30pm

Followed by Christmas bingo in our conservatory bar
