We cannot thank Merewood Country House Hotel enough for our fabulous wedding and two day stay; absolutely amazing! From arriving to when we left was just perfect. The location was superb, the views were spectacular, the food was devine, but what made our wedding so so special were the staff! We cannot thank them enough for all their help, assistance & advice, the owner should be rightly proud of every single one of them! I could write so many other amazing comments but will just say, stay at this hotel, you will see at first hand how good this hotel & the staff are! Where do I start? What a truly amazing hotel with fantastic staff. I had my wedding at the hotel staying for 2 nights. From start to finish every single detail was perfect. A stunning hotel with amazing views. Both my beautiful wife Tricia and I would highly recommend The Merewood.

Neal and I cannot thank you enough for all the hard work you all put in to making our day so memorable. Our wedding weekend was perfect in every way . We were all very relaxed from the moment we stepped into the Briery. Neal and I , our friends and family enjoyed every minute of our celebrations.Nothing was too much trouble from organising our food which was first class , arranging our flowers for our tables, our picnic for our boat trip and taxis. Sarah our wedding coordinator was with us all the way to make sure everything was perfect for us. We would highly recommend Sarah and all the wonderful staff to organise your very special day . We got married at this beautiful hotel and right from booking the venue up to the day of the wedding the staff were fabulous. We took over the hotel for the weekend for our wedding. We can’t thank the staff enough especially Sarah the wedding coordinator who was on hand at all times for questions and there to make sure our big day was stress free and as magical as possible . We couldn’t have wished for a better day everything was fantastic and all our guests loved the venue! And the sun shone so it meant our dream of getting married outside came true! Thank you again for making our wedding our fairy tale and the start to our happily ever after.

Superb wedding venue. I have gotten home today after a 3 day stay for my son and now daughter in laws wedding at Cragwood, I cannot speak highly enough of the venue, the stunning location even with the inclement weather it’s breathtaking, from arriving at reception from check in to check out the staff were so attentive with nothing too much trouble more than we could wish for ,the rooms superb, the food where do I begin, I have only tasted Michelin star food once before, this is up there with it ,thank you Cragwood.

Perfection - Wow the hotel is beautiful & immaculate & the views are breath taking, the food is Amazing - the best food I’ve tasted. And as for the staff nothing was to much for them and they was so kind & polite. We also had a lake cruise and that was amazing.
